Vanmorgen de sprong gewaagd (figuurlijk he) en met Flopke een klein stukje in het park gelopen. Eigenlijk meer ernaar toe en terug. Ze liep naast de scootmobiel en het snelste mocht ze draven in een rechte lijn voor een paar minuten. Ze was echter zo blij dat we richting park gingen, dat ze al haar krachten op haar tuigje zette en enorm trok (dat is ook de reden dat ik met de scoot ga, anders trekt ze me echt omver). Ik zag dat ze daardoor juist verkeerd op haar rechterpootje ging lopen (ipv aan de binnenkant liep ze nu nadrukkelijk op de buitenkant, maar zeker niet goed recht op haar pootje) en op een rustig veldje, waar geen honden waren, heb ik haar even kort los gelaten. Ze ging toen heel rustig lopen snuffelen en kleine stukjes voor me uit draven, zoals ze normaal doet in het park. Maar ineens had ze door dat ze helemaal los was en trok ze een sprintje! Tja, daarna was het dus gelijk weer vast aan de scoot en zijn we rustig lopend naar huis gegaan. Maar het is gelukt! Ze loopt nog steeds niet te manken van dit uitje, dus is de belasting goed gegaan! Die kleine had zo’n plezier om lekker even buiten te zijn en te kunnen snuffelen, dat je daar zelf helemaal vrolijk van wordt! Ze ligt nu lekker met een modderige buik op haar kussen bij te komen met een volle buik, dus die valt zo in slaap! (ok, ze snurkt zelfs al)
This morning I took the plunche and had Floppy walking in the parc for a little while. Ze walked beside the scootmobile and the fastest way was trotting for a couple of minutes. She was so happy we went in the direction of the parc that she put all her forces on her harnass and pulled enormously (that is also the reason why I go with the scootmobile otherwise she pulls me of my feet). I saw she wasn’t walking right on her right foot (in stead of walking on the innerside she walked on the outside of her foot but still not straight) so on a quiet field without dogs I cut her loose and let her sniffle for a while and trotting calmly in front of me. But suddenly she was aware she was totally free and she took a sprint! Well that was the sign to put her on her leash again and tied her to the scootmobile and we walked calmly home. But we did it! She is still not limping from the outdoors happening, so the load on her foot was good and not overloaded! The little one had such fun being outside again and being able to sniffle through the bushes, it made me feel happy too! Now she is laying down on her pillow with her muddy belly and full stomage, so it won’t be long before she falls asleep! (ok, she is snorring already)
